Every time I visit London on business from my home in the North East, and fancy an Indian, I look no further than the Alishaan, which I stumbled upon by luck about 3 years agoThe staff are always welcoming and friendly.I prefer mild curies and the Chicken Kashmir is superb. The quality of the food is always excellent.Great value for money, well worth a visit

Ever since we tried out this place one night about 13 or so months ago we have been coming back nearly every week or fortnight.Having tried out various central London and Brick Lane restaurants in general, I must say that Alishaan remains my firm favourite. the food is amazing, the waiters are very attentive, polite and helpful, and where else will you get amazing quality and quantity (starter, main course, side dish, rice or nan and drink) for just under 10 pounds? While it might not look quite as fancy and interesting as some other Indians on the inside (or the outside, for that matter) do not let that put you off. Try the Dhansak, or the Thali... and you might just find yourself hooked.
